The role
The Contract and Compliance Officer ensures safety, quality, and regulation adherence within Oxfordshire’s Supported Travel Service, overseeing over 800 contracts supporting vulnerable residents. This role involves managing service contracts, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory, safeguarding, and transport regulations. The successful candidate will assist in procurement, monitor service quality, and handle contract documentation in line with GDPR. They will investigate breaches, support KPI monitoring, and communicate effectively with providers, families, and internal teams. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and policy application skills are essential for managing complex operational requirements.
