The role
As a Transport Planner, you will manage the day-to-day transport planning for a busy consumer beverages operation, using the latest TMS to create efficient routes.
You will consolidate 400+ orders into loads within a 24-hour cycle and coordinate subcontractors across UK depots.
Plan daily fleet workload and schedule approximately 100 collections on time-critical deadlines, responding to issues swiftly.
Collaborate with transport and warehouse teams to maintain and exceed KPIs while seeking continuous improvement.
Make quick, informed decisions under pressure during peak periods and adapt plans to changing business requirements.
Bring strong UK geography knowledge, excellent communication, and analytical Excel skills to optimize delivery performance.
