The role
Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of facility piping and fluid systems for process-control environments handling liquids or gases.
Model pressure, flow, and thermal effects with CFD/FEA, perform pipe-stress analyses, and size key equipment (pumps, valves, heaters, motors, etc.).
Develop, review, and red-line mechanical and piping drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with ASME and applicable codes.
Plan and execute engineering work packages for major projects, prepare cost estimates, and generate procurement documentation.
Mentor junior engineers, coordinate safety reviews, QA activities, and drive continuous improvement through emerging technologies.
This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance and will involve regulatory audits and stakeholder briefings.
