The role
The role involves analysing and documenting detailed business requirements for change projects within the telecommunications sector, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers. The Business Analyst will develop clear requirements specifications and engage with subject matter experts to understand business problems and opportunities. They will analyse current processes and workflows to identify improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, designing new business processes as needed. The position requires contributing to change plans, project planning, and risk assessment, as well as maintaining comprehensive functional documentation. Candidates must have strong stakeholder management skills, experience in business process modelling, and familiarity with OSS BSS frameworks such as eTOM, TMF, and ITIL. Knowledge of telecommunications solutions, process frameworks, and tools like IBM SCCD, BPM, and Lotus Websphere is desirable for success in this role.
