Managing Editor – Peer Review Team

The managing editor works on supporting a global publisher with journal platform migration from systems such as ScholarOne and Editorial Manager to a bespoke platform. Responsibilities include conducting pre-alignment assessments, documenting workflows, liaising with external and internal stakeholders, and managing the migration and hypercare phases to ensure a smooth transition. The role demands proven experience with peer review management systems and strong understanding of change management processes. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and familiarity with system migrations. The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with flexible hours and remote work negotiable within UK and Europe timezones.
