The role
Lead and execute data management initiatives within the GCIB data management program, ensuring policy adherence, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Own data governance activities including policy standards, data stewardship, and issue/incident management across data domains.
Collaborate with GCIB Technology, Enterprise teams, and business lines to implement sustainable data solutions and regulatory controls.
Conduct horizon scanning of data issues, regulatory exams, and risk assessments to steer the data strategy and roadmap.
Engage in audits and target assessments; document work, maintain traceability, and provide evidence of execution.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate complex organizational dynamics, escalate risks, and deliver clear, executive-facing communications.
