The role
A mid-level back-end engineer is sought to develop and maintain financial services and cross-border payment platforms in Bracknell. The role involves designing APIs, data modelling, and ensuring the reliability of services, with a focus on multi-currency and financial data management. Candidates should possess strong proficiency in C# or alternative OOP languages and relevant experience with AWS cloud services, including deploying and utilising native AWS solutions. They will partner with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant financial transaction processes. The role requires good system design skills, especially in distributed and event-driven architectures, and familiarity with CI/CD practices. Practical experience with agentic coding tools, testing, and modern deployment practices is also advantageous.
