The role
Provide patient care in an ambulatory cardiology clinic as an LPN, including patient rooming, vital signs collection, data gathering, and adherence to clinic protocols.
Perform EKGs and laboratory tests in compliance with CLIA requirements after training and competency.
Document medications and immunizations accurately and maintain clear, concise patient records; may serve as a provider scribe after training.
Handle clerical duties and assist with supply management and procurement as directed.
Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and provide pre-approved patient education resources; route questions to the provider or RN as needed.
Requirements: Completion of a nursing program approved by a state board, LPN licensure, and preferred 1+ year healthcare experience; physical demands include very heavy work and potential shift work.
