Conduct research to advance Gemini's information tasks, delivering helpful, factual, and well-grounded responses.
Primarily focus on post-training methods, including RL and supervised fine-tuning, to boost information-seeking performance.
Develop and evaluate novel metrics to measure model quality, factuality, and grounding.
Explore orchestration of tool calls and retrieval strategies to improve information retrieval in user journeys.
Collaborate across product surfaces to translate research into real-world impact on information tasks.
