The role
The Physiotherapist Assistant supports physiotherapy staff in providing rehabilitation services to residents at Bristol Care Homes, focusing on mobility and healthy ageing. The role involves implementing treatment plans, assisting with exercises, and using specialised equipment under physiotherapists' guidance. Candidates are expected to work independently, prioritise caseloads, and liaise with physiotherapy teams, sometimes without immediate supervision. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this dispersed position. Experience in neurological conditions is preferred but not mandatory, and training will be provided.
