The role
Lead electrical design and project management for VA Medical Centers nationwide, ensuring robust systems for healthcare facilities.
Provide technical direction, oversee facility power distribution, lighting, and grounding designs, and ensure compliance with NEC and federal healthcare specs.
Read, interpret blueprints and as-built drawings; review submittals and shop drawings for conformance.
Collaborate with clients virtually and on-site, advising on HVAC integration and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor staff engineers, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and stamp and sign electrical work as required.
Must hold a PE license (any state) and RCDD certification; experience with AutoCAD or Revit, Windows software, and government specifications.
