The role
An experienced commercial plumber is required in Liverpool to carry out installation and maintenance tasks within a large project at a university. The role involves fitting plumbing systems including Mikrofil units, dosing pots, and drainage pipework, as well as assisting with general plumbing tasks. Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent), a valid CSCS or JIB/Skill Card, and previous commercial plumbing experience. The position offers an immediate start, a minimum five-week contract, and weekly pay. Responsibilities include working as part of a mechanical team and supporting site activities under the supervision of a project manager. Technical skills in copper press-fit installations, solvent weld drainage, and using Unistrut systems are essential.
