The role
Lead the design, development, and evaluation of cutting-edge ML models to improve search and discovery quality.
Own root-cause analysis of bottlenecks across query understanding, relevance modeling, candidate retrieval, and ranking.
Propose, implement, and evaluate ML, DL, and large language model solutions, and run rigorous AB tests to measure impact.
Collaborate across product and engineering teams to drive consensus and deliver high-impact, pragmatic solutions.
Work on advanced techniques including two-tower embeddings, ANN-based retrieval, BERT for classification/NER, and graph analytics.
Requirements: strong coding skills (Java, C++, Python) and experience handling large data volumes in distributed environments.
