The role
A Practitioner Psychologist delivers direct psychological support including trauma-informed interventions and specialist assessments. They guide recovery navigators and mental health practitioners through complex cases, and provide group supervision and reflective practice across various teams. The role involves leading and creating training sessions, workshops, and therapeutic groups, as well as innovating trauma-informed practices. They are expected to influence service development and represent the service at local and national forums. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to person-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment.
