The role
Act as the primary security leader for telecom business units, aligning cybersecurity strategy with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Oversee enterprise IAM governance (SSO, MFA, PAM, federated access) and advance Zero Trust across workforce, services, and telecom infrastructure.
Provide security architecture oversight for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid telecom environments, embedding security-by-design in OSS/BSS and network operations.
Govern secure telecom networks (5G Core, IMS, RAN, IP/MPLS) and cloud-native workloads with controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, SD-WAN, ZTNA).
Collaborate with SOC to enhance incident detection/response, align SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR to telecom telemetry, and develop scenario playbooks.
Lead GRC activities (risk assessments, policies, standards) across OSS/BSS, 5G/4G, cloud platforms, and vendors to ensure compliance.
