The role
As an Industrial Engineer - Assembly, you will optimize line speed, cycle time, workstation assignments, and change control to improve throughput.
Apply lean principles to identify waste, conduct time and motion studies, and drive continuous improvements in staffing and processes.
Directly and indirectly manage labor activities affecting line performance and collaborate with the IE manager and supervisor on technical services.
Support line balancing, work sequencing, and layout optimization to maintain efficient operations and safe, compliant workmanship.
Lead data-driven analysis to sustain lean manufacturing metrics and inform staffing decisions and standard work.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives and enhance productivity and quality across the assembly line.
