The role
A procurement specialist is responsible for managing purchasing strategies, ordering materials, and liaising with vendors to ensure timely deliveries to production sites. The role involves maintaining stock levels, raising purchase orders, validating invoices, and analysing procurement data for trends. The specialist will build strong supplier relationships, monitor ongoing orders, and assist in risk assessments and cost negotiations. They must have a proven procurement background, extensive SKU management skills, and a full driving licence with willingness to travel. CIPS qualification is advantageous, and the position offers a competitive salary along with benefits. The role is office-based, working Monday to Friday, 37.7 hours per week.
