The role
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and platform services to support petabyte-scale data processing and ML workflows.
Build abstractions over datastores (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Snowflake) and file systems over S3/Azure/HDFS.
Create and optimize distributed system components for streaming, batch processing, analytics, and feature stores.
Develop high-performance APIs for AI/ML applications and integrate with Spark, Ray, and data analysis libraries (Pandas/Koalas).
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers; practice test-driven development and agile delivery.
Own components end-to-end, solve complex problems, and operate across multi-cloud environments.
