The role
Provide professional oral interpretation and written translation for Spanish-speaking patients and families in a pediatric care setting.
Act as a cultural liaison between medical staff and families to support family-centered care and clear communication.
Deliver sight translations and consecutive interpretation; apply medical terminology knowledge and confidentiality standards.
Operate with professionalism and strong customer service, maintaining ethics and patient privacy.
Work the evening, per diem schedule in Orange, CA, with flexibility for weekend assignments.
Requirements include at least one year of interpretation/translation experience and formal medical interpreter training; certification preferred.
