The role
The role involves assisting in managing clinical negligence claims against NHS Wales, reviewing medical records, drafting legal documents, and liaising with experts under supervision. Candidates should have a law degree or equivalent CILEX qualifications, legal office experience, and knowledge of clinical negligence processes. Essential skills include strong communication, organisational abilities, IT literacy, and discretion handling sensitive data. Experience in personal injury or clinical negligence cases is desirable, along with Welsh language skills.
