The role
A Senior Mechanical Engineer contributes to water and wastewater projects by leading mechanical design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements. They design systems, create detailed technical documents, and oversee construction and commissioning activities. The role requires strong technical skills in P&IDs, pump calculations, and above ground pipework layouts, along with effective communication skills. The engineer collaborates with clients and internal teams, fostering a one-team approach. Mentoring junior engineers and developing project resources are also key responsibilities.
