The role
Ensure laboratory operations meet federal and state regulatory standards through licensing, inspections, and compliance activities.
Conduct initial and annual inspections of laboratories to verify adherence to statutes, rules, and internal procedures.
Monitor and review quality systems and document controls, track corrective actions, and assess data for continuous improvement.
Lead investigations into compliance issues, respond to complaints, and prepare detailed reports and notices.
Coordinate training for new staff, provide guidance to team members, and engage with regulated labs and regulatory bodies.
Travel as required to various locations to perform duties and attend meetings, including both in-state and out-of-state engagements.
