The role
Lead civil engineering design tasks for roadway projects from concept to final design.
Develop civil designs for multi-modal transportation projects in accordance with Caltrans Highway Design Manual, AASHTO, and applicable standards.
Prepare plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates; assemble final bid packages, design-build packages, and bridging documents.
Create construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads; coordinate with interagency stakeholders and project partners.
Mentor and develop junior engineers; lead coordination between staff, subcontractors, and clients.
Contribute to reports, studies, proposals, and presentations while maintaining clear communication and quality control.
