Kodaly Musicianship Tutor – Inverness

High Life Highland is seeking a qualified musician with experience in Kodaly techniques to teach primary school pupils in Inverness. The role involves delivering music skills sessions mainly to Primary 3/4 pupils, utilising recognised Kodaly methodologies and materials. The successful applicant should possess good communication skills, an independent character, and a passion for music, with the ability to work autonomously and foster positive relationships among colleagues. Delivery will be primarily within schools on a rotational basis throughout the academic year, with support and training provided. The position requires a current driving licence and access to a vehicle, as well as a flexible, energetic approach to music education. The post is funded through Youth Music Initiative and offers a 23-month contract, with potential for renewal based on ongoing funding.
