The role
The Financial Analyst and Benefits Underwriter analyzes health and welfare plan finances, building robust projections and financial models.
Prepare renewal projections, IBNR analyses, and premium-equivalent calculations to guide client decisions.
Lead and support stop-loss RFPs, negotiations, and implementation while adjusting plan designs to risk profiles.
Deliver benefits benchmarking, plan performance analyses, and client-ready financial summaries for meetings.
Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and actuarial/analytics partners, ensuring funding compliance and PHI protection.
Requires advanced Excel, strong communication, independent work style, willingness to travel, and hybrid office presence.
