The role
A Quality Assurance engineer ensures the quality of services and products by performing testing, creating test plans, managing defects, and collaborating with teams. They are responsible for applying testing methodologies across diverse projects, adapting to new tools and technologies, and mentoring colleagues. The role requires experience in automation testing, stakeholder communication, and version control. Candidates should have a good understanding of non-functional testing, continuous integration, and programming paradigms. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates may need to hold or be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance due to security requirements.
