The role
Seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and expansion of enterprise relational databases across on-premises and cloud environments.
Architect, deploy, and maintain SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL systems with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, proactive health checks, and self-healing using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, OEM, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
Design and operate database deployments in AWS or Azure, and implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates for repeatable provisioning.
Automate routine tasks with Bash, Python, or PowerShell; integrate database workflows into CI/CD pipelines and enforce security, auditing, and compliance requirements.
Lead mentoring of junior DBAs while communicating health, status, and risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
