The role
A Junior Doctor in Psychiatry is responsible for clerking new patients, conducting ward reviews, participating in ward meetings, and reviewing urgent cases. The role involves liaising with community and medical teams, preparing discharge summaries, and working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care. The position requires excellent communication skills, a medical degree, and UK experience in Psychiatry is preferred. This hospital provides acute psychiatric care with state-of-the-art facilities and a holistic approach. The role involves a rota pattern of 48 hours per week, including on-call shifts, within a multidisciplinary team environment.
