The role
Provide timely legal support to the New York corporate and investment banking in-house team, focusing on financing and other corporate agreements.
Draft, negotiate, and review financing agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and related contracts to protect the firm's interests.
Support engagement with external counsel, manage litigation matters, and assist on corporate governance and NY law issues.
Identify complex legal risks, develop practical strategies, and advise on regulatory matters relevant to banking and corporate lending.
Demonstrate strong drafting, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills, with proactive ownership and meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
