The role
Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving of critical DoD materials for CONUS and OCONUS locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain inventory records, perform periodic audits, and uphold DoD inventory accountability standards.
Prepare shipping documentation such as DD Form 1348, MIRR, and Commercial Bills of Lading (CBL) in compliance with regulations.
Operate material handling equipment and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to optimize space, safety, and workflow.
Manage hazardous materials handling and ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
Collaborate with program management and procurement to resolve shipment discrepancies and drive continuous improvement; eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance is required.
