The role
Under RN supervision, performs basic patient care activities in a medical-surgical setting.
Performs vital signs, blood glucose measurements, and records intake and output.
Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff and helps maintain a clean, organized patient room.
Demonstrates critical thinking, prioritization, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Supports unit workflow and census coordination with the charge RN/manager; full-time days, 72 hours per pay period, with alternating weekends and holidays.
