The role
The Sr Consultant Data Engineer, Information Consumption is responsible for contributing to the build-out of enterprise BI and Visualization capabilities by collaborating across functions, business units, and regions to migrate and modernize analytics artifacts while applying best practices.
Own architecture decisions for federated query systems, data cleanrooms, and secure data exchange; implement data virtualization and performance tuning techniques.
Translate analytical needs into scalable solutions by partnering with business units, analysts, and engineers; diagnose issues and propose improvements.
Collaborate with Data & AI Governance, Risk, Technology, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Privacy teams and other stakeholders to address challenges and ensure compliance.
Coach data engineers on best practices in data engineering and consumption patterns; drive automation, monitoring, and optimization of data services.
Hybrid role based in Bengaluru with partial remote days; requires 10+ years in data engineering (or 5+ with advanced degree) and strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
