The role
Provides clinical and clerical support under the direction of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.
Performs vital signs, patient screening, and basic tests (EKG, spirometry, pulse oximetry) per protocol.
Maintains and prepares Electronic Health Records, documents visits, and ensures chart completeness.
Assists with injections, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and medication reconciliation.
Handles scheduling, check-in/out, chart requisitions, and referrals while supporting cash collection and billing processes.
Ensures safety, infection control, and participates in process improvements and EHR enhancements.
