The role
Serve as the primary ASL-English interpreter facilitating clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Act as a cultural mediator to promote inclusive care across hospital departments.
Support medical encounters, including high-acuity and specialized cases.
Contribute to training, policy development, and accessibility initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards per the RID Code of Professional Conduct.
Work a full-time weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, onsite.
