The role
Process and enter sales and purchase invoices into Excel, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare bank reconciliations and conduct bank analysis using pivot tables.
Cross-check invoices against bank statements to ensure consistency.
Analyse petty cash and credit card statements and support month-end closing.
Assist with the preparation and completion of accounts while pursuing professional qualifications (CIMA, AAT, or ACCA).
Requirements include part qualification or study, proficiency in Microsoft Office, two years of accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines; this is a full-time, permanent, in-person role in Birmingham with a salary of £26-28k.
