The role
An inbound warehouse operations manager in Sheffield oversees all inbound activities within a busy distribution centre, including managing container arrivals, goods receipt, and putaway processes. They lead the inbound team, prioritise daily tasks, and liaise with suppliers and hauliers to coordinate deliveries. The role involves driving process improvements and working closely with inventory and purchasing teams to address discrepancies and shortages. The manager ensures health and safety standards are maintained, utilising ERP or WMS systems to manage stock and operations effectively. Candidates should have strong logistics experience, team leadership skills, and technical knowledge of inventory systems. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Head of Operations and offers a competitive salary.
