The role
Assist the Recruiter in screening and processing direct care staff for the Home Care Department, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Conduct interviews to gather work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and provide information about opportunities.
Maintain and file employment records; notify applicants of decisions and provide references as needed.
Process new hire packets and coordinate required screenings in a timely manner, following up with staff.
Complete all screenings (fingerprinting, drug screening, references, education verification, W-4 and I-9, physicals) and perform data entry to activate new hires and update statuses in the Crescent system.
Generate weekly and monthly reports, monitor productivity, forecast compliance, schedule mandatory trainings, and collaborate with administrative staff for effective communication.
