The role
The Senior Accountant position in Toronto requires leading financial statement close processes, management reporting, and client profitability analysis for a North American legal entity. The role involves supporting automation projects, system enhancements, and process improvements while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions such as premiums and commissions. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and system management, with expertise in IFRS standards. Strong communication skills, team collaboration, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Oracle Fusion, PowerBI, SQL are considered assets.
