The role
A plumbing maintenance engineer is responsible for performing both planned and reactive repairs on mechanical and plumbing systems within a large site in Aberdeen. The role involves fixing leaks, repairing taps, basins, radiators, and toilets, as well as undertaking minor installation and maintenance work on commercial plant rooms. Candidates should be NVQ qualified or hold an equivalent certification, with prior maintenance experience preferred. They will work within a team to ensure the smooth operation of all plumbing and associated systems. Skills required include proficiency in repairs, troubleshooting, and basic installation tasks, with knowledge of health and safety protocols in building maintenance. The environment involves working on a static site, with tasks scheduled primarily on weekdays, supporting consistent site operation.
