The role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machinery.
You will read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications while ensuring compliance with NEC wiring standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using precision tools and diagnostic methods; remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools to determine wear or dimensional changes, and adjust mechanical components and control instruments for proper functionality.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by reinforcing preventive maintenance practices and documenting work and irregularities.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety procedures.
