The role
A Serious Injury Lawyer in Newcastle is responsible for managing high-value claimant injury caseloads from inception to settlement, offering expert legal advice and preparing legal documents for complex cases. They collaborate with counsel, medical experts, and multi-disciplinary teams to strengthen cases and support innovative legal strategies. The role requires conducting comprehensive legal research, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to internal procedural improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' PQE, a strong track record in high-value personal injury litigation, and excellent negotiation and drafting skills. They must be proactive, empathetic, and capable of working independently as well as within a team. This position demands technical expertise in serious injury law and a commitment to client care in a challenging legal context.
