The role
Provide safe and effective medication management for acute inpatient units, including Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
Review, verify, and dispense medications according to physician orders and hospital regulations.
Deliver clinical pharmacy support, monitor therapy for safety and efficacy, and optimize pharmacotherapy.
Document accurately in the electronic medical record and participate in medication reconciliation and patient safety initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care.
Hold a New York State Pharmacist License, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience; 13-week contract with an evening schedule.
