The role
The role involves developing advanced clinical skills in trauma and orthopaedics, specialising in complex knee conditions and acute injuries. The trainee will independently run clinics, interpret investigations, and provide expert management for patients while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. They will demonstrate clinical, educational, and leadership competencies to progress to an advanced practitioner level. Responsibilities include leading clinics, supporting service development, and contributing to research and audit activities. The candidate should have relevant post-qualification experience, HCPC registration, and strong communication skills. The post offers a development pathway towards a Band 8a role, with dedicated time for professional growth.
