The role
Coordinate and deliver direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring, interventions, and patient/family education.
Lead and participate in transitions of care, care planning, and interdisciplinary communication.
Provide clinical leadership through precepting, mentoring, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.
Delegate tasks based on patient acuity, skill level, and resource availability while ensuring safety.
Maintain ACLS and BLS certification, ECG competency, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
Work a night schedule of 7:00pm–7:30am, 72 hours per two weeks, with rotating weekends and holidays.
