The role
The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in networking, including WiFi, VOIP, CCTV, and switching, supported by industry-focused training and real-world projects. It involves working on customer deployments, conducting surveys, and configuring equipment both in the office and on site, adhering to health and safety standards. Participants will support service users with technical issues and develop solutions using digital technologies across various platforms and devices. Training includes digital modules, vendor qualifications, and practical assessments, with ongoing support and networking opportunities provided. Candidates should have relevant IT or networking experience, good practical skills, and a valid UK driving licence to support travel requirements. The programme lasts 18 months, with a salary of £21,000 per annum and a full-time working week of 37.5 hours.
