The role

Provides interpreting and translation support for school-home meetings and communications to assist immigrant students and families.
Translates documents accurately and maintains confidentiality of all conferences and sensitive information.
Collaborates with the program coordinator to identify language needs and promotes family involvement in school activities.
Requires fluency in English and at least one other language, with computer literacy.
Evening and travel to various locations are expected; hours are assigned as needed.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred, plus a valid Georgia driver's license and Superior or Advanced level ACTFL proficiency on the Oral Proficiency Interview.
