The role
A Senior AI Engineer is needed by a high-growth e-commerce group near Leeds. The role involves designing, building, and deploying AI solutions to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance through automation and AI technologies. The engineer will work closely with business stakeholders to solve operational challenges and develop AI-powered workflows, integrating solutions with SaaS platforms via APIs. Responsibilities include experimenting with AI models, developing proofs of concept, and deploying scalable solutions while evaluating new frameworks for continuous improvement. Candidates should possess strong software engineering skills, experience with large language models, API integrations, and a product-driven approach to solution delivery. Ideally, candidates will have experience in e-commerce or fast-paced digital environments, demonstrating excellent communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
