The role

Supports adults with Serious Mental Illness enrolled in Assertive Community Treatment by helping them obtain and sustain competitive employment using the IPS model, with 65% of time spent in the field.
Performs employment readiness assessments and develops individualized placement plans aligned with participants' needs, goals, and readiness; conducts rapid job searches.
Builds and maintains employer relationships through proactive outreach to create job opportunities and placement links in the community.
Provides ongoing coaching to improve work behaviors, interpersonal skills, and reliability; facilitates reasonable accommodations as needed.
Guides participants in understanding how earnings affect benefits; monitors progress, documents in NYESS and CAIRS, and collaborates with the ACT team and IPS Learning Collaborative.
Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent (bachelor’s preferred) with multi-year experience in supportive employment; strong communication; ability to travel within NYC via public transit; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
