The role
Develop and craft written materials for public release, including features for the quarterly magazine and internal communications.
Research and report on topics across politics, culture, local and national events, lifestyle, and human-interest stories.
Ensure high-quality writing with thorough copy editing, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to professional standards.
Build and maintain a network of contacts, conduct interviews, and verify facts to support accurate storytelling.
Collaborate with other departments to determine relevant material, determine emphasis, length, and format, and meet deadlines.
Publish or upload finished copy to the organization's website and contribute to enhancing external reputation.
