The role
A certified nurse or paramedic will serve in police custody suites in Bedford, delivering healthcare to detainees, working within a team rota pattern. The role demands experience in clinical settings such as accident & emergency, general practice, or ambulance service, and the ability to manage diverse clinical situations under pressure. Candidates must have a driving license and be registered with the NMC or HCPC, with at least two years' post-qualification experience in patient-facing roles. The position involves working flexible shifts, including nights and days, from a fixed schedule, with potential overtime opportunities.
